Joe Griffin, P.E.
Joe “Sr” graduated from Newark College of Engineering (Currently NJIT) in 1976 and has practiced as a Licensed Professional Engineer for over 30 years. In 2009 Joe retired as the President of Engineering from a major heavy constructor after over 30 years involvement. Joe has over 45 years of heavy construction experience, during which he has supervised and performed design of construction engineering for a wide‐range of heavy construction projects including railroad, highway, bridge, landfill, electrification, cofferdams, sheeting, piles, pipelines, buildings and dams. Joe is licensed in three states; NJ, NY, and PA. Joe is also a NJ licensed Professional Planner. In 2003 Joe received the “NJ PEC Professional Engineer of the Year” award from the NJ Professional Engineers in Construction, a practice division of the NJ Society of Professional Engineers. Joe is a long time Member of the “Moles” and he currently resides in Sea Girt, NJ.

Joe “Jr” Graduated from Fairfield University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. From 2006 to 2012 Joe worked throughout NY & NJ for multiple heavy construction firms. “Jr” obtained his professional engineers license in 2010. After being immersed in a construction environment since youth it is no surprise that he joined “Sr” in early 2012 to continue a career in the Construction Engineering field and help advance Griffin Engineering. Joe currently resides in Red Lodge, MT. with his Wife and Children.
